FRÁGIL II

Opening: Saturday, July 11, 2026 | 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Opening Reception & Celebration: 9:00 PM–12:00 AM

RUBY Projects is pleased to present FRÁGIL II, a group exhibition curated by Luis Manuel Perea. Following its initial presentation in Mexico City, the exhibition comes to Houston in an expanded iteration, bringing together artists whose practices examine the body, landscape, memory, materiality, and transformation. Across painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, and installation, FRÁGIL II considers fragility not as weakness, but as a condition of openness, resilience, and continual becoming.

The exhibition features works by Andu Franco, Anjan Sundaram, Annie Flores, Corina Bistritsky, Fernanda Ballesteros, Fernanda Carri, Fernanda Téllez, Fernando Polidura, Gladys Méndez, Jashira Sandoval, Marian Rodríguez, Natalia Marmolejo (GURRUMATA), Rodrigo Palma, Sage Vousé, Samantha Michell, Serena Creciente, Valentina Guerrero, and Will Maxen.

Join us for the public opening on Saturday, July 11, from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, followed by an evening reception and celebration from 9:00 PM–12:00 AM. The exhibition remains on view through August 8, 2026.
